Since 1999 Robert Matzinger holds the position of the chairman of Libertine Vienna.
During this time he organized as well as contributed to numerous events of Libertine Vienna, such as the the regular “discussion evenings”, the traditional “pony” carriage at Vienna’s version of the Christopher Street Day (the so-called “rainbow parade”) or exhibitions about Austrian’s BDSM- and fetish history.
As activist, rope worker, performer, teacher and organizer he does not hesitate to draw conclusions from his overview of more than 25 years of change and development in the BDSM culture of Austria and Europe.
